I haven't been a steady blogger - and I always thought blogs were to be happy. But I'm am dealing with 82 year old parents with various forms of dementia, home care, doctors, and all that comes with our aging society. Here is a nice website to find info on Alzheimer's called - A Place for Mom - http://alzheimers.aplaceformom.com/
I once had a goal to put something on my daily blog about finding joy - which I personally have a hard time finding in a day - but it was going to be a quest for me. Now, I don't have time to look for joy. In fact I've already talked to my Dad twice today about all the newly installed reminder gadgets around the house - and I haven't even got to take my own pills. I can't even find the two pills I got out to take - they are lost somewhere in my house!! So rather than my quest to find joy in my life - my quest today will be to find those two pills that I set out to take earlier this morning.

Norman Area Quilters Guild
This is a fun video. I'm the hand model at the beginning - wearing pink. You only see my arms and a rotary cutter. This was taken during our Norman Library event.

It has been a while...
Hello all in the blog-o-sphere, it is strange to start conversations these days without beginning it with "After the quilt show, I can..." The quilt show was great. The Bazaar Boutique was great. We made tons of items to sell, and made $1400 for our guild.
Now on to the rest of my life - it is hot in Oklahoma and I'm watering my yard and flower beds. It is a cool 90 degrees and maybe some rain later. I never give the chance of rain any credence if the change is less that 30%. 30% chance of rain - means fat change in heck it gonna rain where I live.
Hot weather means beautiful Crepe Myrtles. I'll post some photos of them.
Hugs and kisses to all you out there, geo

Why I can't get anything done....
Some people have trouble sewing because of their feeddogs on their machine aren't working. Well, my problem is two well feed dogs under my sewing table!!
The dog gone truth. The reason why I can't get anything done - is two 60 lbs blue heelers under my sewing table. They want in, they want out, they want food, they want to play, they want, want, want... Although, the advantage to having them under my sewing table is - I have automatic feet warmers. One for each foot. And they keep my sewing petal from sliding too far from reach.
The black dog is Seiko the Watchdog. She is 15 years of age now. Frosti the other - well the frosty one - is 12. They do light up my life. Frosti still loves her toys. We have a toy box for her. She takes them all out, and they are in one room, then later they are all in another room.
