I found some three hole buttons - neat. I separate them by color and some by style - like cloth, cheap plastic, etc. Enjoy the pictures - and send my your old buttons! PS, I'm a quilter not a seamstress - poor DH never gets his shirts fixed that need a button, etc.

Been Washing Buttons - you say What?
Yes, I've been washing buttons. I love buttons - and many people give me all their old buttons. I sew them on quilts!! But when I get those little jewels they are a mess. I pick out all the fabric and threads (and dirt) and then wash them. They just shine after a little water and Windex!! So here is the process in pictures.

Veiled Snow Nymph (simply white flower)
This quilt is fun. Usually quilters use a light background, but I decided to do the opposite. I had the strips left over from another quilt and didn't know what to do with it. I came to me - sew mostly white items on for a reverse look. I may not have enough sparkle on it yet. I will have this in the COQG summer quilt show. My brother told me that the sign of a good artist is to know when to quit - but that doesn't seem to apply to art quilts.

Quilts in my home!!
These are small quilts hanging in my entry way at my home. I say quilts are not just for keeping warm but for imparting warmth too. I love the little wooden quilt hangers. I purchases them during an Oklahoma Quilt Shop Hop.

Food for Body and Soul Quilt
Hello all, here are my two quilts that I entered in Judy Howard's - "Food for Body and Soul Quilt" contest. I love adding stuff to quilts and I'm addicted to eye lash yarn - probably cuz it covers up my mistakes and looks good. Shhh - just our little secrete.

Creative Big - Little quilt
Hello cosmos, so I'm going to try to blog more than ~~ never!! So here we go.... I've been creating some small quilts. So I can be creative, but not expend too much brian power - or money. My parents are taking more time and energy, but I have to have a creative outlet. So here is the small quilt I've ever seen. I created this at a January quilt retreat at Camp Canyon. I used very small yo yos - and had a great time making it. It was time well spent.
